1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aegori, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Aegori is a zero-knowledge encrypted digital vault platform. We provide encrypted storage for passwords, documents, and digital assets, along with a mechanism to transfer access to designated trusted contacts upon prolonged user inactivity.
3. Zero-Knowledge Architecture
All encryption and decryption occurs on your device. We do not have access to your encryption password, master key, or unencrypted data. This means we cannot recover your data if you lose both your encryption password and recovery key. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials.
4. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, encryption password, and recovery key. You must be at least 18 years old to use Aegori.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Aegori offers paid subscription plans. Prices are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Upon cancellation, you retain read-only access for 90 days, after which your account is frozen. Reactivation restores full access to your encrypted data. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on first subscriptions.
6. Access Transfer & Dead Man's Switch
The inactivity detection system monitors login activity. After a configurable period of inactivity, warning and grace period notifications are sent to your registered email. If no activity is confirmed, vault access is released to your designated trusted contacts. You can revoke this access at any time by logging back in.
7. Limitation of Liability
Aegori is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from lost encryption passwords or recovery keys, failure to configure trusted contacts, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or prolonged non-payment. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your encrypted data is permanently deleted after the retention period.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
